The long term use of water based fluids requires additional additives and formulatory expertise. Polartech offers this support with a variety of products and services.
This group of products covers antifoams for adding to cutting fluid concentrates or using as tankside additions, pH and corrosion protection boosters for in use emulsions, extreme pressure additive packages for enhancing in use emulsion performance, and system cleaners and treatments.
Antimus™ Series
The Antimus™ range of antifoam agents include a wide variety of siloxane, wax and ester based derivatives that have been developed to control foaming even in the most demanding conditions. The additives can be selected for use in either the concentrate or as a tankside addition. All the products in the Antimus™ range have undergone extensive internal and external testing to ensure there long-term effectiveness.
Prima™ System Cleaner
The cleaning of a system prior to refilling is absolutely essential if a good service life is to be achieved. Prima™ System Cleaner is a supremely efficient product for this purpose. Tried and tested, it will remove surface debris and help clean even the most contaminated coolant system.
Morecide™ Series
The Morecide™ range includes biocides, system treatments and cleaners developed specifically for use in the metalworking fluid industry. Classical Triazine free biocides are available alongside system treatments and cleaners that have been proven to be effective in reducing bacterial and fungal growths, and extending fluid life. Offering a more consistent approach to the problems of bacterial control in metalworking fluids, the Morecide range of additives provide a complete package to both the formulator and fluid user.
XPA™ 100
XPA™ 100 is a fully water soluble performance boosting metalworking additive designed to be added to an emulsion during use to improve surface finish and tool life.
