Polartech® Metalworking Fluid Product Ranges
SYNGRIND™
The Syngrind range consists of long-life, nitrite-free grinding fluids which emphasise the multiple benefits of low foaming, mobile residues, and excellent anticorrosion. There are specialist grades available for multi-metal operations, ultra-fast separation of metal fines, and other niche areas, such as the grinding of tungstan carbide.
SYNCUT™
These are fully synthetic, inherently stable, nitrite-free fluids which offer highly enhanced machining performance as a result of the inclusion of synthetic lubricity improvers. They are well-proven products which combine EP levels of performance with exceptional fluid life.
CLEARCUT™
The Clearcut's are oil-containing formulations covering a wide variety of general purpose, extreme pressure and special purpose fluids. Oil contents vary in the range 10-70%, and EP additive alternatives can be chlorine, sulphur, and synthetic esters. Special products are available for heavy duty applications such as gear cutting and non-staining performance on aluminium and its alloys.
POLARSOL™
The Polarsol range consists of a variety of higher oil containing products, which form the more traditional 'milky' type emulsion on dilution with water. Whilst the range contains classical 'soluble oils' for general applications, a new generation of long-life fluids with high oil content is also categorised in the Polarsol range. The addition of EP additives and lubricity enhancers creates a multipurpose product range suitable for a wide range of applications.
PRIMA™
Designed in accordance with international health and safety trends, the Prima range contains a complete spectrum of secondary amine free products. From synthetic, high performance watermix metalworking fluids through to higher oil containing, low staining aluminium type fluids, all the products in the Prima range have undergone extensive internal and external testing programmes.
VERTO™
Developed with an empathy towards approaching environmental trends, the Verto range offers a diverse portfolio of metalworking fluids. Incorporated into the range are products free from boron, amine and traditional biocides, alongside formulations based upon rapeseed oil and synthetic esters. These high technology products are at the forefront of development in the field of watermix metalworking fluids.
Other Specialised Finished Products
SYSTEM TREATMENTS
Polartech offer a range of system treatments and cleaners which are suitable for use in self-contained and centralised emulsion systems. Specially formulated for the machining industry, most of the products provide degreasing, flushing and disinfecting functions from a product which can be used whilst the emulsion continues to be used in production.
FIRE RESISTANT HYDRAULIC FLUIDS
Polartech manufacture the HFA, HFB and HFC types of fluids which meet a variety of specification requirements and performance levels. We are always happy to discuss any specific requests.
